With the movie above we hoped to receive hundreds of thousands signatures on this site, signatures from people who think it is bizarre that political leaders do not keep their promises for investments in agriculture in developing countries. The idea was to offer the list with signatures to world leaders during a summit later this year. Up to now we did not receive enough signatures to make a public statement. Therefore we won’t take any further steps with the signatures for the time being. Yet we continue campaigning and we thank everybody for his/her support so far!

How is it possible to reduce hunger and poverty without investing in farmers? Political leaders promise investments in agriculture in developing countries. So far, the farmers concerned have seen very little happen. But without farmers, there is no food.

In developing countries many people live and work in rural areas. They can contribute greatly to the eradication of poverty. Agriterra supports rural people who take action against poverty by organising themselves, because together you stand strong.
